I think of doing the ‘Hoerikwaggo Trail’ of which I also have the 4 maps; they are as splendid as all of your maps: a great job you’ve done!

As the earlier editions were too the third edition is outstanding — immensely useful, and beautiful. Peter Slingsby’s maps are a work of art. And buying from slingsbymaps.com was a breeze. Within three days it had arrived in the post.  What a pleasure.

Where would I be without a Slingsby (or three)? Paul and I spent lots of Sunday walking in Silvermine, accompanied by Peter Slingsby. Actually, it was one of his amazing maps, not the real him, but his maps are so saturated with his humour and his dedication to mapping in close and useful detail every trail and path on Table Mountain and the Peninsula, it might as well be him walking along next to you, pointing things out along the way.
